Yanina Tertychna

Has over 19 years of experience working in prosecution authorities.

Specializes in criminal law and international humanitarian law.

Cooperated with the International Criminal Court. This cooperation resulted in the issuance of historic arrest warrants for M. Lvova-Belova, the Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights, and Russian President V. Putin for their role in the unlawful deportation and forced transfer of Ukrainian children to Russia.
Also cooperated with the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry and the OSCE Moscow Mechanism.

EDUCATION AND RECOGNITION
  • Graduated from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy of Ukraine.
  • Has received commendations:
    - from the Prosecutor of Verden (Federal Republic of Germany) for cooperation with German law enforcement authorities in bringing to justice individuals involved in botnet infrastructure activities;
    - from the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for playing an important role in strengthening international partnership in combating crimes posing a transnational threat.
